Sony has become the top market share holder for mirrorless cameras in Japan.

As we can see from the report, Sony is first, Canon is second, and Olympus is third.
This is a bit of a shocker since Sony has not released a new camera since October 2021 with the Sony A7 IV.
Perhaps with the popularity of Sony cameras on YouTube and on social media, their companies word of mouth is helping them surpass the competition.
Canon is planning to release the EOS R7 and Nikon is planning to release the Z30 soon so we’ll see if this chart holds steady.
