Who is Rory Lewis?
Rory Lewis is a renowned British photographer who specializes in capturing portraits of celebrities. He draws inspiration from several art movements and artists, including Hans Holbein the younger, Caravaggio, Titian, Thomas Lawrence, and the German Expressionist movement of the 1920s. Rory has achieved notable success in his field, having won the Portrait of Britain award in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Over the past decade, he has dedicated himself to capturing the images of some of the world's most recognizable faces, including William Shatner, David Cameron, Sir Derek Jacobi, Iain Glen, and Natalie Dormer. Rory's work has been exhibited internationally, and his iconic portraits are part of the collection at the National Portrait Gallery in London. His most recent project, 'Soldiery,' which documented the British Army in the 21st century, was a two-year effort that garnered significant acclaim and was hailed by the BBC as 'The changing face of the British Army.'
