Born in 1979 in Sweden, my formative years were deeply influenced by the great outdoors. My grandfather played a pivotal role in introducing me to a myriad of outdoor activities, from fishing and camping to hiking and bird spotting, and so much more. It was during these cherished moments that my grandfather gifted me my very first camera, a Nikon, accompanied by a remarkable 600mm Novoflex lens. Around the age of 10, I found myself venturing into the woods alone, camera in hand, on a mission to capture photographs of birds. I distinctly recall the immense joy I experienced during these solo photography expeditions. To foster my passion for photography, my grandfather and I would develop the film together in his darkroom tucked away in the attic. Those moments spent nurturing my love for photography with my grandfather hold a special place in my heart.
