Jim Crotty

Ohio Photographer Jim Crotty, the proprietor of Picture Ohio LLC, offers instructive content covering nature and landscape photography tutorials, accompanied by live discussions on photography-related subjects via YouTube. Since 2003, Jim has been engaged as a professional photographer and since 2009, he has been imparting his photography expertise through workshops. His creative achievements have graced the pages of publications such as Nature's Best, National Wildlife, Smithsonian, Professional Photographer, Ohio Magazine, and various books. In 2009, he earned the Certified Professional Photographer designation from the Professional Photographers of America. Beyond his photographic endeavors, Jim shares his knowledge by teaching communication courses at The Modern College of Design in Kettering, Ohio, as well as at the University of Dayton. A graduate of the University of Dayton, he holds a Master of Professional Communication degree from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Adding to his accomplishments, he served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Proudly, Jim is the father of Philip, Emma, and Chloe.
