Richard first picked up a camera at 18 whilst recovering from a ruptured ACL suffered whilst riding BMX. Documenting his friends, the camera stayed in hand long after the scars of surgery had healed. Whilst gaining a masters in Visual Communication at Robert Gordon University, Rich's BMX photography started gathering pace gaining him coverage in Professional Photographer magazine and Ride BMX UK as well as commissions from multiple BMX brands.
